TV Show – consistency in style over the episodes.
Normal people – more time than usual for TV show.
Requires more organisation due to more hours of film, you end up mixing back to back at the end, working on a film is a marathon
Keep consistent pace over 6 months so you don’t get tired. Team needs an aesthetic or sensibility to help with the sound capture.
Film = 1 mix, TV -more voices in the room, different directors – different process & more cuts/drafts.
Easy to do something adaquate – harder to work to the specifications of a project. Good to be overwhelmed!
Start with the hardest sequence.
May only work off the script/may get to see a cut.

It’s helpful to see how someone in a transitory field reacts to works in progress – Important to share.
What’s the character feeling? That effects how they’ll be hearing.
Make sure to listen whilst recording for timecodeing and finding a source.
Soundminer – useful for sound editing jobs.
LAV mics are good for discreet field recording. (this was helpful to know as I ran into trouble recording with my field recorder at a station.)
